Tales of Aldorun is a dark epic fantasy set in the world of Galanon, in the year 3234 of the Imperial Age. Kaito Kyūkesson is a solitary, misanthropic, and intimidating mercenary from the Lyvård tribe, one of the six Great Tribes that saved the world 3800 years ago from absolute destruction after rabbles and demons, creatures from the Shadow Planes, invaded the Mortal Plane to sow chaos in what is now known as The Great Disaster. Kaito travels across Eredia, the prominent continent of Galanon, working for coin and hunting rabbles incursions that have been multiplying lately. His hunt leads him into the heart of the Zurian Empire, the dominant political and military power of Eredia, where he uncovers a complex plot of lies, deliberate genocides against the tribes, and sacrificial rituals meant to bring about the forces of the Shadow Planes in the Empire once more. Reluctantly accompanied by a party of curious heroes with their own dubious agendas, Kaito has to balance the growing discrimination towards the tribes, his broken family history, and his raging Lyvård spirit, a giant bipedal silver wolf, scheming to take over Kaito and wreak havoc upon the world all in the name of revenge, before history repeats itself.
